A few kilometres out of Campo Cámara, and on the road to Cortes de Baza, we arrive to a great plateau. Following one of the dirt tracks for about 5 Km we can find this beautifull old cortijo called Cortijo del Civil. It's still in use but only for keeping sheep. It's not inhabited any more. Once again we find lovely old farms that are left to rot and fall apart when it's inhabitants move to the nearby towns.// Historic facts on this Cortijo del Civil (in Spanish): Por todo lo cual, en el Cabildo de Zújar de 9-X-1875, se nombra el primer alcalde pedanio para Carramaiza, siendo éste Don José Galera Carricondo, labrador del Cortijo del Civil, y que tenía jurisdicción en todo el distrito que comprendía la zona de Carramaiza, ya que la experiencia ha demostrado que es necesario un empleado público para salvaguardar los intereses del Ayuntamiento. Posteriormente se van nombrando otros alcaldes pedaneos para la aldea, coincidiendo casi siempre con la muerte de su antecesor, como en el cabildo 26-II-1876, se nombra a Don Santiago Rodríguez García, en 1884 a Don Santiago Rodríguez García (hijo del anterior), en 1902 a Don Pedro Mirón Reche, en 1906 a Don Gaspar Carmona Rodríguez, en 1911 a Don Ramón Gutiérrez Quirado, en 1920 a Don Andrés Martínez Reche, en 1924 a Don Ramón Ruiz Carmona, etc.
